This reprint reproduces the eleven articles (ten original papers plus an introductory Editorial) included in the Special issue of Minerals entitled "Sustainable Mining as the Key for the Ecological Transition: Current Trends and Perspectives". Specifically, the reprint contains an introductory paper dealing with general issues and nine papers dealing with resource exploration, the impact of mining activities, and waste recovery.
